Emails get truncated

has anyone experienced e-mail content is being truncated.

Hi Mary,

The default for Traveler is 2k of message data. If you receive an email that contains more than that, at the end of the message you will see “data truncated”. Use the “Retrieve” option from the mobile client’s email menu to download the rest of the content.

To change the settings, go into the Traveler configuration on the mobile device (Windows and Symbian) and increase the size of the “Truncate mail to” preference.

Note that this setting is also available as a Policy on the Traveler server, so your Administrator may have locked this option down so that only 2k is sent to your device anyway.

hi mat. thanks for ur reply. i dont hv the traveller server installed. all u mentioned earlier, is also applicable to Domino/client configuration?

Subject: So you are getting this message from within the Notes Client, accessing Mail from a Domino server?

Subject: not msg as such.but some part of email could not be seen. in second or third attempt to open, the whole email content are visible. what might be happening wrong?
