Emails disappear in folders but can find in All Documents

Some of the folders in my Lotus Notes 8.0.2 client are missing. I search in All Documents, it is there. But when I right click on that email and choose folder’s discover email, it said the folder no longer exist.

Then where is the missing folder?

It sounds like the folder got deleted. (In notes, deleting a folder does not delete the messages.) Usually, deleting a folder would have to be something a person with access to the mailfile would do. But it is theoretically possible for an agent, a template issue, or even syncing with another server, to create a situation where a folder is deleted…when things are not set up properly by your Admin, that is…it isn’t the norm.
