We have a group in Lotus called “every1” that sends an email to our entire directory - is there a way to intercept these emails and automatically make them post to a general discussion forum? Basically, can we stop people from emailing “every1” and it just automatically takes their messages and makes a new topic in a database.

Research Server Mail Rules which are created in server Configuration Settings documents.
Subject: Email to Database?
I would remove the group “every1” and create a mail-in record that points to this discussion forum. You just have to make sure there is a form “memo” in this forum database OR you create an agent (trigger: before new mail arrives) that changes the form to the default form being used in the disc db.
