Email Reply appends incorrect information in reply to all 'CC", any ideas why?

I have a situation that only a couple of users have noticed, but it happens consistently to them.

The scenario is that a message is received that has multiple persons in the ‘CC’ field.

The CC line contains for example:

Joe Smith(joesmith@domain.com), Stan Smith(stansmith@domain.com)

When Reply to All is clicked, the ‘)’ is dropped from the last (and sometimes last two) name, resulting in:

Joe Smith(joesmith@domain.com), Stan Smith(stansmith@domain.com,

Obviously, there is then a routing error and mail doesn’t go through to that last person.

Is this a server or client configuration issue? Is it a mailbox script issue?

This sounds very similar to some behavior that I was seeing. The response I got from Debbie Branco is that my issue will be fixed in R8.5.2; I suspect the same is probably true for what you are seeing.
