Email Image Filtering - third party product?

I am looking for an email filtering application, like MailSweeper, that works in Domino that can not only filter email for various exploits and policy violations but for “inappropriate” images as well with internal email.

I have MailSweeper for SMTP that has a plugin called ImageManager that does this, but it cannot see internal Notes email, it just filters incoming and outgoing email.

Does anyone know of a product that works with Domino for internal email? Clearswift just told me they have no demand for such a product. I don’t know if that is because no one cares about this or the Domino market is too small or it’s something else.

There are some products that will search your network for inappropriate images, but I’d rather get something that works with Domino and internal email if at all possible.

The lack of demand is not due to the small size of the Domino mail market (it isn’t small at all), but the small level of demand for “internal” filtering. There is not much demand inside the Exchange market for internal filtering either. I have had requests for such functionality, but not may accompanied by any desire to pay for it.

Have a look at IQ.Suite from Group-Technologies http://www.group-technologies.com

Their IQ.Suite Wall module incorporates this “Integrated image analysis with Xblock detects prohibited image attachments in real time, and prevents them from being disseminated via e-mail.”

The modules are available for Domino, Exchange and MS SMTP and work great.

If you need more info, send me a mail.

What am I, chopped spam?

The cost for the image filtering with MailSweeper SMTP is very reasonable, what would you consider a reasonable cost? Seems to me, say, a child porn image that gets passed through a system would be much cheaper to catch and dropped than to allow it to be distributed.

Personally I think such filtering should be a part if any such filtering software, the real damages can be much greater than even a virus.
