Email from excel file

I would like to be able to create a macro in Excel that when clicked will open email in lotus notes and automatically attach the Excel spreadsheet with the most recent changes made to the spreadhseet before the macro was clicked so that each subsequent person that opens the spreadsheet does not have to save it to their hard drive after they have made changes and forwards the spreadsheet to the next person. Is this possible?

Subject: Edit in place

Files (e.g., Excel) do not be detached to be edited.

  1. You attach the Excel spreadsheet and send it to Person A.

  2. Person A forwards your message WITH THE ATTACHMENT but does not send the message yet.

  3. Person A double-clicks the attachment and edits it. He then Saves (not Save As…) and Exits Excel.

  4. Person A then sends the message to Person B.

Person B repeats steps 2-3 and sends it to Person C, etc.
