EM_MAILSENDNOTE event doesn't trigger my hook

Dear developers,

I met very strange problem.

There’s an sample solution in \notesapi\samples\mail\extmail. I build it and attached to Lotus Domino using EXTMGR_ADDINS=EXTMAIL as it was described in readme.txt.

It was promised in the readme.txt:

"This sample program will register the Extension Manager hook EM_MAILSENDNOTE.

When the program traps an EM_MAILSENDNOTE hook that is triggered when a

mail message has been composed and sent by the Notes UI."

But it was not triggered by EM_MAILSENDNOTE event. Although most of other events (e.g. EM_NSFNOTEOPEN) trigger it.

There’s a dim information in Lotus C API Reference:

Note that for the following Extension Manager notifications, there is no corresponding directly-callable C API function. However you can still register an Extension Manager callback routine for these events:

EM_MAILSENDNOTE see MailSendNoteEMCallback

So should I use MailSendNoteEMCallback and if yes how should I do it.

I’ll grateful for any useful information and of course double thanks to source code example.

Subject: EM_MAILSENDNOTE event doesn’t trigger my hook

i havent played with the API for a bit now but i’m pretty sure that EM_MAILSENDNOTE is for the client, there’s a bunch of other EM’s that let you hook into the router (or smtp) task on the server.

"This sample program will register the Extension Manager hook EM_MAILSENDNOTE.

When the program traps an EM_MAILSENDNOTE hook that is triggered when a

mail message has been composed and sent by the Notes UI."

please confirm where you put the addin, domino or notes?
