Editing (RichText) section titles using LS

Hello. I have a requirement to fulfill that I need help on. Here’s the background:

We’ve purchased a company, and we’re in the process of migrating them from Exchange to Notes/Domino. That company wants to retain their Internet domain. No problem there.

One of the requirements, however, is to make sure that our organization name does not appear in any messages that they might send out to their existing customer base (they have an established brand and want to maintain some sense of isolation from us).

So, they want us to strip out the /COMPANY@DOMAIN text from any messages that we send to them. I have a created a proof-of-concept that does that, but not entirely.

Here is the snippet of code that does the work:

Set range = body.CreateRange

count = range.FindAndReplace(searchFor, replaceWith, flags)

The problem I’m having is that the FindAndReplace method doesn’t change the text in the section title, which is prevalent in every memo that has been replied or forwarded.

Can you think of a way that I might be able to satisfy this requirement, and change the section title as well?

Thanks.

…Jack

You can try using the “NotesRichTextSection” class and change the section title using notesRichTextSection.Title = “newtitle”
