UPDATE: The problem seems to be related to a nested frameset. Once we got rid of that, it’s fine on PCs. Now, the issue only occurs on Macs (without nested frameset.)
ORIGINAL POST:
In an effort to allow end users to create their own navigation, I’ve created a form that contains a title field and a rich text field that they will paste view links to other databases into. The form’s launch properties are launch first doclink.
I then created a view to display these documents. When the view is opened on its own, there’s no problem - it sits and waits for me to actually double-click on one of the documents, and then it opens the link.
However, I want this view to be embedded in the page that we use for our navigation pane (already contains an embedded outline.) When I embed the view, if I just open the page in Notes on its own (preview in Notes), no problem. But once I open the frameset containing the page, the database stays open for a second or two, and then closes itself. (This is the case in Designer as well as the Notes client - can’t even edit the frameset while the view is embedded in the page.) It seems like the first doc in the embedded view has the focus, but that’s the case when I open the page by itself, too, so I’m not sure why it would be an issue.
Any ideas?
