I have a database which receives documents which often need modifying before processing.
Normally I just open the document from a view, edit it, save it, and then at selected intervals an agent goes through the view and processes any documents not needing modifying.
However, I have 6 documents in this view which when I edit and save, do not update and so after saving, do not reflect the changes I have made. All other documents in the view edit and save fine. There is nothing different (that I can see) with these documents than the others that I can modify.
I get no errors, either on screen or in the domino log.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this, or what I can do to deal with these 6 documents?
I only can tell, check you don’t have any field put “SaveOptions=0” or in the form you have in the querysave continue=False.There’re another posibility is this field has $keepPrivate, you can’t copy, can’t print neither save a document.
How do you save the document?.
Sometimes there’re conflicts with document.save(true,false) and Uidoc.save . It isn’t the same…
If you change a Reach Text Field and you use document.save(true,false) and this document is new is probably this field hasn’t change.
My recomendation is review how you save, check the saveOptions field and the querysave of the form.
I am saving by doing Ctrl + S, but doing File > Save produces the same results. The form used on these 6 documents is the same as all the other documents in the view, and the rest of them are fine.
There is no $keepPrivate and no background saves etc. It is a simple form with just a few fields (one rich text).
