Hello I just installed the 7.0.2 Notes client. Sametime is working again and the view looks much better. One consern of mine is the ability to edit Office objects in forms. We use mostly clean Notes forms for our documents and somtime we insert Exel objects in them.
I migt be wrong, but after my memory, I was able to insert objects like Exel and edit my Exel spreadsheet fields in our document forms as late as last winter, from my Mac. This summer I changed from PowerBook (Power processor) to MacBook (Intel processor). Now I have no Create>Object meny, and I can no longer edit my spreadsheets in our Notes forms. Singel Exel documents from within a Notes form opens fine in Exel.
Is there anything I can do about this except waiting for 7.0.x? Will it help to upgrade my Exel from 2001?
Using Parallell desktop works fine, but I do not have an Office lisence for Windows, so this is not the trick here.
