I have a document to edit on the web, then I need to run an agent. The agent modifies the document and sends an email containing info from the document. The problem is that if the document is in edit mode, it does not work but it works if the doc is only being viewed.
PS: Ironically, I have seen several people having the exact opposite problem on the forum and trying to get in edit mode.

can you give us some information about the elements you are using?
Do you have a Web Query save agent in use? This should be the right way.
How do you run the agent in read mode? Are you using a link with “…?OpenAgent”?

Ironically - you have not stated what your problem actually is.
If the document (sic) is in edit mode - what “does not work”?
