same message as Daniel posted in April : Document Locking when enabled in a database does not work with the in-place Edit Attachment functionality…
Open a Notesdocument in edit mode, try to Edit an attachment and you get: “Document is already locked by someone else”, (even though $Writer is yourself)!
Open a Notesdocument in read mode, Edit attachment and the Notesdocument goes to editmode even if it is locked by another user!
