I open a document on the web, set it to edit mode and update some fields. Then I click a button that has the file save and close window code; once I click it it takes me to the view. When I go back to the document, my changes are not saved. I’ve tried refreshing the web browser, viewing the doc in Notes, standing on my head, spinning in a circle 3 times… nothing works. Any suggestions?

Hello!
When you open the document in Notes, what is the time/date that it was last modified? That should tell you if it’s actually being saved or not.
Do you have a “SaveOptions” field set to “0”? If so, then it won’t save.
Any Input Translations that are removing values?
Any javascript onSubmit code removing values?
Good luck!

I’ve checked the last modified–it’s not saving on the web. Also, SaveOptions != 0, and the other things you pointed out aren’t the issue.
Do I need to use JavaScript? I’m using Formula and am not successful.

So I recreated the button and this fixed my problem. I don’t know what it was in the previous button that prevented it from working but now it’s working. Everything is exactly the same. Ahhhh, how I love Lotus Notes…
