Eclipse view rendering in composite apps

Hello,

I’ve been playing with composite apps in 8.5 and want to render views similar to the contacts and mail databases. This was discussed a while ago in the 8.0 forum (see link below). Just wondering if it’s possible in 8.5 or if the csi view part technology is still limited to use within the core client databases (mail and contacts)?

Subject: I think there is a way

Do you know this link: IBM Developer

It is not veary easy, but it looks as it is possible to use Java views in custom applications.

Subject: Thanks

Thanks for the link, Ralf.

I’d almost come to the conclusion that the UI enhancements coming under the banner of eclipse were limited to the PIM apps and weren’t much use for anything else.

I’ll give the tutorial a whirl and see how far I get…

Many thanks again

Subject: Ignore me…

Please ignore my question - I just looked in the help for view display options and realise they’re still only available for PIM applications :frowning:
