Eclipse.ini parameters

Hi all,

Eclipse has an eclipse.ini file where several parameters can be adjusted. Especially the default memory configuration can be changed and let Eclipse perform better, if enoguh ram is available.

I found the file eclipse.ini also in Notes 8.5.1 and opened. But there was no relevant content in it: --launcher.library

./eclipse_1114b.so

Which of the Eclipse parameters are supported in the Notes Designer environment ? The designer is sometimes a bit sluggish and it seems that garbage collection is sometimes taking several seconds. I’m not sure though whether this is an JVM issue.

This forum has numerous posts about DDE memory allocation. If you can’t find them with something obvious, like “DDE AND memory”, then look for “jvm.properties”…
