When building a view custom control Eclipse defaults to “use xPage associated with yhe document’s Form” for the “open selected document using” . When I change to the proper form control and attempt to save the system starts “quivering” and locks up (every time). The save happens but the only way out is to shut down Notes. Anyone else getting this? I’m running Win 7 with the server running simultaneously on the development PC.

I have been experiencing similar issues posted regarding Xpages freezing up when saving; wanted to post what’s helped me thus far.
This occurs when I am modifying Xpages form tags to include a var and gather data from JavaBeans.
Good news is, it does save your changes, and the best way, for me anyway, to pop out of ‘the quivering’, (looks like trembling)… is to hit my escape key.
You may also find, depending on how many of the tags touched in the Xpages form, normally in the dataTable portion of the code, if you try to do escape, it freezes, trembles…
Here again, you can just wait, eventually it does pop up your save box to save, it takes about 2 minutes, 5 minutes when I am not looking.
Last option, if nothing happens for more than 5 minutes is to do CTRL+Alt+Delete, if you have access to your machine, you can stop processes in Task Manager… If do not have access to your machine completely, just log off.
Looks like the same on my 8.5.2 version at home, more than likely a fix is on the table for next versions.
