Easysync Pro and Tungsten E : Name not valid

Hi,

I’m trying to sync my brand new Tungsten E with Lotus Notes 6 via EasySync Pro 4.2.1 (French softs).

Unfortunatly, after the first sync, I’m totally unable to do another synchro.

I try the patch proposed by Lotus but I get a “Name not valid” error while in EasySync.

Any idea ?

Thanx

Guy

I have never had any luck with EasySync Pro. I moved all my users to www.commontime.com’s mNotes. Works first time, every time. The most flawless sync’er I’ve ever used.

If I unchecked Calendar synchronization, I can repliquate my mail, but I can’t see them in the soft VersaMail.

And for the calendar, I don’t know.

Any clues ?

Hi french users,

I found a “solution” for this problem.

After applying the patch described in :

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&uid=swg24006010

Copy the rLNEN.dll and rename the copy rLNFR.dll

Works like a charm now !

I know that there is a 4.2.2 release of EasySync but I don’t know if the problem is solved. I’ll try it asap.

Regards

Guy

It did not work for me, I found out that the Palm Software of a Zire21 do the job perfectly with the Tungsten E

Problem is that Patch is designed for English environment.

To make it work on a French platform, I had to extract files from patch zip file in “C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\XCPCSync\Translators\3CmPlm” directory and then rename rPalmEN.Dll file as rPalmFR.Dll file replacing existing one.
