Spam is burying me.
Is there an easy way to setup something up where I can click on a message and then have its address/domain added to my rules list?
I currently have a rules list setup but it is a pain to have to get the address out of Notes Minder (so I don’t have to open HTML email and get more spam) and then add that domain to my existing list.
thanks

Subject: Easy way for agent/script to update rules and kill spam?
If you search the Sandbox for the word spam, you’ll find a number of things to help. The one most specific to your description is called “Block Spam”.

Have you tried SpamSentinel? It does a really good job at blocking Spam. I would test it out!

thanks for the quick reply.
I did notic e quite a bit of discussion in the sandbox for spam, but a majority of it fell into 2 groups.
-
have the server subscribe to blacklists to block known spamming domains
-
use the power of rules to filter messages in various ways (domain, subject, body)
unfortunately I think our server is still R5 so we can’t sign up for black lists and my admin is worried about filtering off valid mail so he hasn’t done server side rules
so that leaves it mainly to me adding something to my client to filter stuff off. I know rules can help, I would just like to find an easier way of updating them. I haven’t done any development on notes before so I wasn’t sure where to start.
thanks
