Easy Sync Pro 4.2.5 w/ Treo 680/PalmOS (can't sync)

Hi!

Is anyone out there successfully using Easy Sync Pro 4.2.5 with Palm Desktop software??

Here is what I’m running and the error message below.

Easy Sync Pro 4.25

Treo 680/Palm OS

Palm Desktop 4.2

Lotus Notes 7

(ERROR: EASNotify.dll failed a confirmation query and canceled the sync operation).

HotSync Error: An application cancelled sychronization or failed to respond to a HotSync notification. Please ensure that you are not currently editing data using applications such as Palm OS Desktop or Install Tool. (8009)

I reinserted my PalmDesktop software CD to see if alternating which conduits would be used (Palm vs Outlook) would help, but neither fix the problem.

I uninstalled all my software (easy sync and palm desktop/hot sync), reinstalled and the problem disappeared.

Of course, I still had “great fun” getting to a working sync, but at least it’s working now.

I gave up on EasySync when I found this:

I’ve never had an issue with mNotes and my Palm synching.

Thanks for this tip. Quick question (if you know). At HOME I sync to my palm desktop. AT WORK I sync ONLY MY Lotus CALENDAR. Do you know if that would be a problem with this software?
