Easy replication question

Since a few months, our wan bandwith is topped. Using ethereal, I found out that it’s domino replication traffic.

The thing is, using show tasks, i’m not seeing any replication tasks, other than the scheduled one.

If the servers from the wan side is pulling from our servers, would I see it using show tasks?

Thanks

If the other server is initiating pull-push replication then you would see only session activity for that server when you do a show tasks at your server (if you’re logging session activity, that is)

You might take a look at your server log under Usage/By User to see if anything looks unusual. Also check out the Replication view of the log file for your server and the same view in the log db of the servers you suspect are replicating with you.

Usually replication does not consistently consume large amounts of bandwidth if everything is configured properly.

yay! THanks! : )

The usage/By user gives me good pointers

I found the problem, it’s a DB that our partners send us for a few users… It drains our bandwidth…

Is this normal behavior to have 0 doc read and 0 doc writes, but still a lot of kb usage?

here’s a paste of the log
