I have a agent that runs every x minutes. If the database is detached or saved to the c:\notes\data directory on the client workstation, but not added to the workspace, will the scheduled agent still run? Or do scheduled agents only run if the database icon is on the workspace?
I do have the Enable Scheduled Local Agents turned on for the workstations.

Subject: Easy Question On Scheduled Agents
The presence on the workspace has no effect on whether the agents in the database will run or not. Execution is based on whether the agent is enabled, how it is signed, whether it is set to run on local server (i.e. your client), and if you have locally scheduled agents enabled. You have met one of the conditions for running. The reason for the rules are to avoid viruses and execution of “unfriendly” code. Locally sheduled agents will also generate ECL alerts based on signer rights.
