E-mails automatically moving to Trash folder

I have one user that seems to have his e-mails in his inbox automatically moved to his trash folder. His inbox. We’ve been monitoring the first e-mail in his inbox which is from January 18th 2010 and today we saw that it indeed was pushed to his trash folder. I don’t have any archive settings enabled on this mailbox. What can be causing this?

Subject: Doesn’t Sound Like Inbox Maintenance…

As it reportedly does not move items into the Trash folder:

  • Do you have any Mail Policies applied-to this User?

  • Does the User have any Mail Rules configured?

Subject: Design

If you are sure the user dont have any rules (You can check Filter field in the CalendarProfile with Notespeek) then I would replace the design.

I had a similar issue and it was a corrupted inbox folder.
