E mailing by "category"

Newbie suestion

Can some please tell me if it is possible to create and if so how to mail a certain category from my address book

I have certain names and addresses with a category “xxx” and would like to send a e mail to all these people in one go

Subject: E mailing by “category”

This is usually done by creating a group and adding the recipients in to that. You can then send mail to the group
