Hi,A few users have complained that they have read mail and then some of them appear in red as if they haven’t been read.
What could possibly cause this?
Subject: Virusscanner, fail over?
There are several options.
It’s possible your users switched to another cluster server (fail over) and hit a replica of their mailfile they didn’t use in a while, thus having differences in read/unread marks.
Or, you run an older version of a virus scanner that marks documents as unread again after they have been scanned, for instance during a full system scan in the weekend. The scanner adds a field to the documents being scanned, wich results in the docs being unread again. Newer versions of av software generally don’t have that problem anymore.
