Dynamically Changing the HTML Form Action

We have a form where the action does a ?CreateDocument in the action. Depending on the selection by the user, the database where the CreateDocument is performed changes. For example, if they select Option A, the action would be databaseA/newform?createdocument. If they select Option B it woudl be databaseB/newform?createdocument. This has been working fine for quite some time now.

Now the user wants the ability to upload files. So we added an upload control to the form. Refreshed design to all the databases with the new form and gave it a try.

If the user starts in databaseA and selects Option A, it works fine since it is creating document in the same database. If the users starts in databaseB and selects Option A, we get a “File Upload Not Allowed Exception”. If we do not put in a file to uplaod, everything works great.

Can someone explain to me why this occurs and if possible, a workaround?

Thanks

Subject: Dynamically Changing the HTML Form Action

Uploading a file to a different database is an restricted action, which needs unrestricted access if I’m not mistaken, so, depending on the code, the user or the agent signer needs unrestricted access in the servers security document and sufficient access in the ACL of the other database.

I checked the access and set to run unrestricted. Same issue.
