I have a problem with IM not working in Domino Web Access that seems (?) to be to do with the latest mail template …
I have Sametime 7 installed on a Domino 7.0.2 FP2 server so all in one and Sametime works fine on the Client and in iNotes 6 mail however when I try the DWA7 template it doesn’t work and the “IM disconnected” icon is displayed but won’t let me connect.
I’ve tried the following things which make me think it’s the template in some way … if the mail file is iNotes 6 all good for userA … if I replace the template it doesn’t work (so hence not user related?) but if I open another users iNotes6 mail as userA then in the same browser session open userA’s mail file (DWA7 template) it works! So it appears to be something to do with the template and initial connection?
Any clues most appreciated!

I had same problem right after upgrade to R7 from R6 and replacing design on mailfiles, exactly same behavior. I think issue is somehow related to design; here is what my problem was and how to fix it- ST uses web site configuration (does not support Internet site doc config) and this is how I had it configured according to ST release doc
- DWA I had it configured as Internet Site document
This configuration worked in R6 where I was using secrets and Tokens for Authentication which required to replicate StAuthS.nsf to DWA server and modification to TSlinks.js and some other steps… short of long is I do not think this works any longer, at least did not work for me.
So what I end up doing is to use SSO for Authentication using LTPAToken but in order to use same LTPAToken I had to start using web configuration for DWA and disable Internet Site configuration…. After that all worked for me as design
