DWA redirect to a clustered server instead of server listed in NAB?

I want to have webmailredirect re-direct people to there clustered server instead of there normal home mail server listed in names.nsf. Is there a way to do this simply? I would like to do this so I don’t have to run http on our ‘production’ mail servers but instead run http on the clustered sever instead. So when I log in I woun’t be directed to home/mail/xxx.nsf I want to go to cluster/mail/xxx.nsf instead. Thanks for any hints on this.

Hi, this is a simple function of the Domino Web Access Redirect template.

Just go into server setup and you can use either Fixed or Dynamic addressing. Fixed forces DWA to use a specified FQDN (in this case the clustered server)

Dynamic uses the FQDN you’ve connected on and adds the mail file path to the end. Assuming the FQDN in your DNS for e.g. webmail.acme.com arrives at the clustered server, then you can use this option.

AFAIK, this is not possible using the currect web access redirect template.

You could create an agent in an app that takes the user’s name once they’ve authenticated, get their mail file location from the NAB and redirect them to the server you want by printing some javascript to the browser?

Just a thought…
