We have a large number of “webmail only” clients due to network issues in some regions of the world. As a result, they’ve always used the webmail/dwa clients exclusively. With the addition on DWA Lite it’ll be even better for them… but is there some way we can give them the Lite client by default?Is it done on a per server basis?

Use the Domino Web Access Redirect Database. you can configure what to use there. I.E. Full, Lite etc…This db does not exist by default. You can create it from the template on the server.
Subject: We don’t have the ability to do that just yet
Since we’ve “portalized” everything the user’s email links take them directly to their db, they won’t be able to get to the redir db. I’m working with our other teams to get that resolved, but in the meantime I need to be able to provide a quicker responding solution to my users who need it.
The .ini parameter btw is: iNotes_WA_DefaultUI=dwa_lite
It will mean that, unless you’re using the redir db ALL users will get Lite by default and then have to switch to the Full client.
