The issue is similar to that mentioned in SPR# MPGY7FRQZR and in technote 1313444 for previous versions of Domino.
I’m running 8.5.1 FP2 HF55 on Windows 2003 64.
The users having the issue are running the mail85.ntf template. I have tried to reproduce on older templates (inotes6 and dwa7) but haven’t been able to get it to show up.
I have one user that uses iNotes extensively and has reported to me on several occassions when he does sell check and adds words to the dictionary, they do not persist between messages or sessions. Removing the $PersonalDictionary profile fixes the issue for a while but it seems to return. I tested with my account (which worked previously) and had the same issue. Deleting the above profile fixed the issue.
Is there a way to further troubleshoot this issue? I assume if i were to create a new copy or replica of the database, the profiles are created from scratch and not simply copied from the source db.
I thought I’d ask before proceeding to opening a ticket with support.
