DWA Customization - how to?

I modified the Forms8.nsf in DWA 8.0 so that certain calendar items could not be dragged/deleted in DWA.

The calendar view in DWA 8.5 looks totally different (and better), and I guess it is using a completely different approach than before.

So the adjustments I did to ‘s_ViewDeleteHandlerCode’ and others will probably no work? If so, is there any documentation on how te rewrite that code for DWA 8.5 in case we upgrade to 8.5?
