DWA and Sametime

Hi

I just want to know if basic Sametime (that comes free with Lotus Notes) can work with DWA with mail8 template?

I’ve tried all the steps and it doesn’t work. I could not see the presence awareness, nor Instant Messaging option under Preference.

Neither do I see documentation that stressed it must use Full SAmetime version.

Pls advise

To encourage you, but new Lotus “Admin,” so no how-to. Yes, our system is working with Domino 8.01 and the free sametime. We use DWA almost exclusively with about 3000 users on it.

I feel sure someone here can help you, but like I already said…

I’m a new “Admin,” so unable to help.

We had contractors come set our system up and leave. NOBODY here had even used Notes or DWA before.
