I currently have 8.0.2 as my test environment, only found one issue with DWA so far which is much better than 8.0.1That issue being with the spell checker.
The issue is that the spell checker takes about two minutes to load up its first search.
Once the first search has finished its really quick again as it should be.
This happens once per day so can not be each individual email related.
Any Ideas?
I’m pretty certain its not my server speed as its actually a better server than my live 8.0.1 environment.
In previous versions, the spell check engine would load, run, then unload for each user doing a spell check action. The disadvantage of this is slower performance for every user.
In DWA 8.0.2, the spell check engine was modified to load once (First user in the morning, for example) and stay running all day. This improved performance for all users doing a spell check action.
However, an extended delay when it first loads is not running as expected. If this is reproducible, I suggest opening a PMR with Support.
