Hello,I have joined newely to the company, our old administrator has created the same multiple person documents.
I am trying to cleanup the domino directory (delete the duplicate person documents).
Can any one help me to iniatiate the deletetion of duplicate person documents.

Why would he create multiple person doc’s for the same person?
Look at $Revisions to find the last edited doc and the hit the delete key on the others followed by F9.
These users will not receive mail if they have multiple person doc’s !

They can still receive mails. domino will use the first instance of the person document.

Sorting the view is OK, but we have the address book of around 20,000 users & there are many users with multiple docs with different name with same employee id field.so, how about creating the agent or any other soln ?

If you are an administrator, go ahead and create a private view with the sortable column of person. This will allow you do the task very fast if there exists duplicates for many people.
