We are migrating from Exchange 5.5 to ND654.
As per the migration redbook, we are using the MS Lotus Notes Connector. We are receiving duplicate emails to both systems under the following circumstances:
The primary “Distribution Lists” or “groups” exist in exchange. These lists are replicated into the “groups” section of the Exchange.nsf in domino (a secondary address book).
If an exchange user sends an email to a distribution list, quite often there will be nested groups in that list. If a domino user is listed in two or three of those nested groups, he will receive the email two or three times. Any of the Exchange users, receive only one copy.
Now, flip that around. If a domino user sends an email using a group from the secondary address book, all the other domino users receive only one copy. However, any exchange users in any nested groups—you got it, multiple copies.
It’s true when you “REPLY” to a message as well as when a new one is created.
Has any one else experienced this or do they have any ideas?
