I am looking to sate my curiosity–I was trying to use a hide-when formula on the Edit Document system action today and it would not work. This was the hide-when formula:
@IsNotMember(“[DocMaintenance]”;@UserRoles)
when I logged in as my test account (an account I was sure did not have that role) I could still see the system action.
So I created my own Edit function and used the same hide-when formula and it worked as I intended.
so this begs the question–is it impossible to hide a system action using a hide-when formula?
