DUCS 1.2.2(w/CISCO Unity) - no notification for READ event

I installed CISCO Unity server with integration to Domino server and have problem on MWI functionality.

  • Unity 4.0(4)sr1

  • Domino server 6.5.2

  • DUCS 1.2.2

  • CCM(Cisco Calll Manager) 3.3(4)sr2

If I leave a new VM(voice mail), turn ON the MWI successfully and OFF when I delete the VM from Domino client. it means Domino(DUCS)able to notify to Unity for the new or delete event. the problem is “READ” event. when I read the VM in Domino client, no notification from Domino(means the MWI stay ON).

CISCO Unity has debugging tool to capture the situation but not familar the DUCS or Domino side. Any tool to troubleshooting in DUCS side ?

Try increasing the log level via the notes.ini variable ucloglevel=4 this writes to the misc events view of log.nsf/console.log

Check for an error that says UCunseen flag not cleared userA is not mailfile owner userb

in order fro a read event to trigger a notification the id accessing the message must match the owner of the mailfile

Try reading Log.nsf on the appropriate server. Misc. Events probably the best bet. I read about some entries, but can’t find the information now. I’ll check back later.
