DST problem

Hi everyone,

I have a strange DST related issue:

=> Notes client: 6.5.5/ Mail template: DWA7

=> client’s notes.ini setting for DST: 3,2,1,11,1,1

=> Time zone in Tools → preferences → Calendar & ToDo → Scheduling → Local Time selected

=> System clock shows correct time and zone (OS patch applied for DST)

=> the mail server has the required DST updates

Someone (with iNotes6 template) sends user an inivitation today (March 12’07) for a repeat meeting → she accepts it but when hovers the cursor, it appears an hour ahead (as well as on her blackberry). When she opens the invite it shows the correct info within the entry. On the chair’s calendar it appears OK. But when user creates an entry of her own (eg. an appointment) it shows fine.

I looked into the accepted meeting invitation properties and the EndTimeZone and StartTimeZone show old format (4,1,1,10,1,1).

I replaced user’s mail template to iNotes6 and deleted cache.ndk and log.nsf. Deleted the entry and all its instanes and requested re-invite. Same issue.

Can anyone please shed some light how to resolve the issue?

This should not be considered and entry that is being created prior to OS DST update where an agent would be required to run and fix the entry.

Hi,

Your problem might be with the 'Someone"

Someone (with iNotes6 template) sends user an inivitation today

Is your forms6 or forms7 correct?

Thanks so much Jean!

Well we applied the domino patches (hot fix and fix patch) so I guess that should have taken care of forms … right ? You suggest anything esle to double check?

For now I am working with ‘Someone’ as you pointed out …

did you check form6.nsf to make sure the changes are there?
