I’ve tried the DST patch agent provided IBM. I worked perfectly when applied on a calendar entry (created with in the troubled period) for the first time and the dates got re-alligned properly. When I modify the calendar entry (say I change the subject), the dates reverts back to the wrong one. Now suprisingly, when I run the patch again, it fails to correct the dates. Has any body got a patch that can work even after modification of the document ?

From what i’ve heard, those patchs are “in progress” , so it may be possible that they have errors.

Subject: DST Patch agent fails
Hi Rejish,
The DST Patch Agent that Lotus provides tags the calendar entry after updating it so that it does not update the entry a second time (in case the user runs the agent multiple times). The field is called $TIMEZONEAgent and if it exists, the agent bypasses the calendar entry.
I did not like the idea of having each and every user run this agent and therefore we have created a custom database that uses most of the Lotus code to allow us to process a given list of users. I created an agent that reads the address book to populate my database with user information. I can then schedule which users I want to process. The customized Lotus agent is set to run every night on * (all servers).
You need to keep checking the IBM site as the documentation and information is changing constantly for DST… Last Friday the agent was updated to add a missing timezone. The iNotes/DWA fix was completely changed on Thurs.
