DST and Domino/Notes display time

Since the time change the Starting and Ending Time views for Miscellaneous Events and Mail Routing Events are ahead one hour. If I open the logs, the event times themselves (hour, minute and seconds) are correct but the Time: in the header is one hour ahead. Is anyone else seeing this?

Thank you.

Hi,

Is your computer in the right timezone?

Besides the header, do you have something like EDT?

We’ve noticed the same thing here. Our PCs are set to the correct timezone. Our PCs, network time, iSeries, and Domino console times are all correct. I cannot find anything that is causing this issue with the message delivery times in Notes.

We are also running in i5 and forgot to include the following line in the Notes.ini:

DSTLaw=3, 2, 1, 11, 1, 1

We downed the server, added the line to Notes.ini and rebooted. We are good now. Make sure your PC also has the Windows patch applied and in the user’s location document, ‘Use operating system’s time zone settings:’ is set to Yes.

I hope this helps. If I can help any further, please let me know. Thanks.

Anita,

Thanks for the tip, it worked. We also had to have the users exit Notes then get back in for the change to take affect.

Thank you very much, we had the same problem, and it’s fixed with the change in the INI. Here the iSeries admin changes the date/time manually, and we don’t think we use any timezones in the iSeries. So I did some tests yesterday and everything was fine, until the date/time was manually changed later on the day.But anyway, today they were showing off 1 hour and after the change on the INI (which I did through the config document in Domino Admin) everything works.

Thanks!
