DST agents available from IBM/Lotus

In the IBM Technote ( http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=463&uid=swg21254639 ) there is the following blurb:

========

Additionally included is an agent which can be run by an administrator to:

  • Update all relative entries in specified mail files on an individual server.

========

Does anyone familiar with the DST effort know if this is something new that IBM has produced? A co-worker was telling me that the agents needed to correct the DST issue was strictly client driven. If that is not the case, then this is going to make my life much easier, as I can run everything server-side.

Your thoughts?

Subject: DST agents available from IBM/Lotus

Hi,

You have an agent that your users can trigger - They will not do it :slight_smile:

You have a central agent that must be run by your administrator. It is not new.

You will have another agent that will be developped to be run by the server on a schedule basis, The performance testing will measure running multiple instances of the agent simultaneously and running as a background agent on the serve This one is new.
