Very urgent.My requirement is like this:I have a web site and I am using Domino as the http web server.Whenever any user hits my web site I want to retrieve the IP address from the http header and then trace the location information,ie,country,organisation,etc from the ip address.Then I want to pass the web server with the modified http header to web server which would in turn display the user the web page depending on the country he is from.
Note:There are about 10000 hits on my site daily.
The DSAPI supports C Api.
Can anyone help me with the logic.
I have developed this logic:
Technical Specs and Logic:
• Read HTTP request header and find out the IP address.
• Read the cookie from machine, if cookie not present than read the text file otherwise add header with Cookie.
• Pass IP address and read text file (Maxmind) and get the parameter country, Organization, Location etc.
• DSAPI Filter only read the txt for incoming URL other URL on page will bypass. (like Image and link).
• Store the cookie about IP and parameters
Can anyone tell me whether its correct.
