Subject: Dropdown menu - on notes client or on web
hai yusuf
in notes you can achieve drop down menus by using a button and select "create action with sub action " then go on adding action's till u want to stop. and set each action button properties to what it should perform.
just see designer help and search for Action buttons. you will find a whole lot of stuff.
the same can be achieved in web using Javascript. using div tags and javascript you can generate whole lot of dropdown menus.
also there are sites from which you can just copy the javascript code to generate menu’s and paste it in notes form and when previewed in a web browser it will generate drop downmenus as you will see in any normal web page.
there are certain settings and some tricks that should be done to webenable the notes form to act like a web form.
when you get your hands dirty on this you will learn how to do those tricks.
anyways try this out buddy
