Dragged email onto calendar - now email is gone! nothing in calendar

Greetings,

I dragged an email onto the calendar thinking it would add the contents of the email into a calendar entry - but it did not, now the email is gone from my inbox, AND I REALLY NEED TO GET IT BACK, and there is nothing in the calendar.

where did the email go?

Hi Anton,

usually you’got the option ‘Copy Into New’ in the Inbox view and when you read the message in the action bar. That should allow you to copy the contents of a message into either a calendar entry, a memo or a to-do item.

The Inbox is a folder not a view, meaning if you move the message otu of a folder it will dissappear from there.

Check the All Documents view of your mail file. That should display everything including your missing message.
