Quick Question.
I am testing the 8.5.2 client against our 8.5.1 server.
Does the Drag and Drop out of mailbox onto local PC feature require the 8.5.2 template to function properly?
I can drag messages out of my inbox just fine but when I try to open the .eml file I get a pop up message of “Note Item Not Found” This is reproducable every single time.

I have 8.5.2 and drag and drop saves the email as a .eml file on my desktop. When i try to open the file I also get "Note Item not found"Works on some PC’s not others, they are all on same version of notes. Any ideas about Operating system issues?

Did you find a solution to this problem? We have the same issue. It works on some PC’s and not others when using the same notes client version.
Subject: Maybe migrated databases are the cause?
I had the same strange issue - on some desktops the “save as eml” worked, on others not.
Could it be that it works on newly created mail databases from the 8.5 template?
And older mail files (in our case: migrated from 6.5 to 8.5) have some code inside which causes this error?
Maybe there are other pieces of the database design which aren’t upgraded - besides the db icon…
To test: Just create a brand new mail db, copy and paste a mail from the original db into the new one, and “save as eml”.
