Double authentication on Internet Access

I finally have my Domino SSL HTTP access working and was able to login via web to my mail file.

But I do not know why. But when I put in the

request to access my mail file via browser

I get the id and password prompt:

Authentication Required

A username and password are being requested by

http://www.mydomain.com The Sites says

“/mail”

I enter my user name and password then get a second Authentication Required screen same as above but one difference. the Site references inotes. I enter my same user name and password and get into my email.

Why am I getting to Authentication Requests?

I not sure what I my have misconfiguration.

Subject: I give up

I spent the last 8 hours trying different settings and Realm documents in domino to get the double login prompt;

for /mail

and /inotes

to go away.

I finally thrown in the towel and are using Session config. this worked first time.

I really wish there was some clear examples on how to setup Inotes, Realm documents etc etc.

There is not much of step by step.
