Dominoserver not a known TCP/IP host

After upgrading a client from 5.0.11 to 6.0.1, I get into the mail file no problem, then the next time I open notes, all three windows in the welcome page are grey with the text “Dominoserver is not a known TCP/IP host.” As this message is displayed, I test TCP/IP to make sure the client can resolve the server name and it can no problem.

I have to clear the notes.ini file and reconfigure the client to correct this. Has anyone else experienced this before? I get it on some clients but not others.
