DominoPDF not working on 64bits Windows Server 2008

We have been working with PrimeApple’s DomioPDF for years, without any having any problems. The time has come to upgrade our server to a new platform, we are now migrating from Windows Server 2003/32 bits to Windows Server 2008/64 bits.

There we meet the first problem, DominoPDF doesn’t do what is should. I read your knowledge base very carefully and found out 2 options:

  1. There is a 64bit version of DominoPDF, for installation on Windows Server 2008

  2. Use the DominoPDFCOM instead of DominoPDF

So far so good, but…

  1. The 64bit DLL is was not there the time I purchased DominoPDF

  2. Neither was the COM version

So, I tried out the new package from your website to test if it will work on our server, and guess what?

  1. The DominoPDF64 crashes the server into an NSD dump

Anybody who had the same problem (or challenge) and came up with a solution? I would be very happy if you would share your experiences with me.

Kind regards

Subject: Try to contact PrimeApple instead…

You are posting this in a discussion forum for Lotus Notes/Domino, hosted by IBM. If you have a problem with a 3rd party tool, you probably should contact the creator of that tool. I think you will get a better response that way.

Subject: DominoPDF

Sorry, I assumed this forum was ment for all topics concerning Domino stuff, including third party integration. I contacted the vendor of DominoPDF and they helped me out to my satisfaction. I can recommend everybody using Primeapple’s DominoPDF suite. They give great support on their HTML to PDF solution. Thumbs up!!!
