Hi,I often get questions about streamlining passwords, particularly in an environment where Notes shared login is deployed and there is no longer a Notes password to synchronize with the user’s Domino Internet password. This article provides in-depth configuration settings for leveraging Active Directory to authenticate users, allowing elimination of Domino Internet passwords for users on Windows platform. This configuration is useful for Web only users, as well as for users who also access Domino with Notes. These settings can be used in combination with the 8.5.1 Notes shared login feature that eliminates the user’s Notes password.
