We have got Domino Webmail CAL, is there a seperate way to register Domino Webmail Users.In the User registration box, I don’t see Domino Webmail maling system, can i select Domino Web Access.
Also is user.id file needed for Domino Webmail users.
As Domino Webmail does not support Encryption/Sign options, do I need notes.id file to be created for the users.
And for the UI does I have to default the Web redirect to Webmail with this setting iNotes_WA_DefaultUI=Wemail, or is this done another way.
Please assist on the above questions.

Registering Domino Web Access usersWhen registering users, choose “Domino Web Access” as the mail system. By default, the Domino Web Access (7) mail template (DWA7.NTF) should be selected. If it is not, select it. This template contains mail template support for the Domino Web Access client and the Notes client.
Follow the instructions for registering new users, and keep the following information in mind:
* The mail system, "Domino Web Access," does not automatically create a Notes ID for the person. You must select "Create a Notes ID for this person."
* When deploying Domino Web Access to a large number of users, make any hierarchical or name changes before registering new users.
* To enable the mail usage indicator for users, set a mail quota.

Are these two not different. I understand that Domino Web Access is full client and Domino Webmail is a simple client with no OOO, Archiving, Encryption, Message Recall etc.
If I use Domino Web Access template which comes by default with Mail8.ntf, I get all these options, then how do I restrict, is it through notes.ini parameter default the UI to Webmail and then disable the option of selecting the UI from personal options on the Web Redirector or something else.
If encryption and other options are not available then I think there is no need for Notes id file I guess…
